If you like the feel of Windows on a PC such as a Touchsmart, then go with that.
Pros: Fun to use, Windows software is probably familiar to you. Less Expensive
Cons: Windows Vista is a Pain

I have a mac and I love it. But i changed from a PC just recently.
Pros: Very easy to use. comes with an array of programs.
Cons: More expensive, probably not used to the mac operating system.

Well, the HP is a Windows-based PC, which is a definite pro in my book. I personally do not like Mac OS X. It's difficult to find software for and is generally restrictive and frustrating to use. The touch smart's screen makes it very fun and easy to use and I believe Windows Vista to be the superior operating system.

I can only name a couple. but i have a mac theyre great except they get really annoying. but theyre virus free!
the hp touchsmart is TOUCHSCREEN. hatata. but i bet theyres some errors that will occur. i would say hp touchsmart.
